Fans are electric appliances that use the power of a motor to turn blades to circulate or blow air indoors. Floor-mounted and benchtop models are available along with wall-mounted and ceiling fans that can be installed anywhere. Tower fans have built-in fan blades and a slim vertical shape suitable for use in areas of limited space. Wall-mounted fans can be installed anywhere, but their installation location is fixed so should be decided beforehand. Benchtop fans are available in a clip type and freestanding type. Compact fans for personal use that are powered from a PC are available. Fans for use in vehicles that are mounted in construction equipment or heavy machinery are also available. They have various functions such as wireless remote controls, timers and automatic airflow adjustment, so checking the functions needed beforehand is important.
