Suction cup หรือ Absorption pad คืออะไร ?

คือ อุปกรณ์ที่ช่วยในการหยิบจับชิ้นงาน ทำจากยางหรือซิลิโคน สามารถช่วยหยิบจับชิ้นงานได้หลากหลายรูปแบบ โดยสามารถเลือกและแยกประเภทตามการใช้งานให้เหมาะสมได้ ดังนี้

รูปร่างและลักษณะของ Suction Cup (Shape of Suction cup)

- แบบแบนชั้นเดียว (Flat Suction cup) : ใช้สำหรับการยึดจับบชิ้นงานที่มีผิวเรียบ ไม่โค้งงอ เหมาะสำหรับการยึดจับชิ้นงานที่มั่นคงไม่เลื่อนหลุดง่าย สามารถรับน้ำหนัก
ได้ดีกว่า Suction cup หรือ Absorption pad ประเภทอื่นๆ

- แบบหลายชั้น (Bellow Suction cup) : ใช้สำหรับการหยิบจับชิ้นงานที่มีพื้นผิวไม่เป็นระนาบ แนวเรียบ หรือพื้นผิวไม่สม่ำเสมอ โดยลักษณะของ suction cup ประเภทนี้
จะให้การยึดจับที่ยืดหยุ่นไปตามพื้นผิวของงานและเหมาะกับงานที่มีน้ำหนักเบา ซึ่งในการเลือกใช้ Suction cup หรือ Absorption pad แบบหลายชั้นสามารถเลือกได้
ตามขนาดความโค้งงอของพื้นผิว ยิ่งพื้นผิวมีความโค้งงอหรือไม่สม่ำเสมอมากเท่าไหร่ ควรจะเลือก Suction cup หรือ Absorption pad ที่มีจำนวนชั้นมากกว่าปกติ
เพื่อให้มีความยืดหยุ่นในการจับพื้นผิวของงานที่มากกว่าเดิม โดย Suction cup หรือ Absorption pad แบบหลายชั้นก็สามารถแยกได้อีก 2 ประเภทคือ

1. แบบ Single Bellow คือ Suction cup หรือ Absorptopn pad แบบชั้นเดียว : Suction cup หรือ Absorption pad ประเภทนี้จะเหมาะกับงานที่พื้นผิวโค้งงอ
เพียงเล็กน้อย เนื่องจากมีจำนวนชั้นที่น้อยทำให้ความยืดหยุ่นในการจับชิ้นงานที่มีผิวโค้งงอ ไม่สม่ำเสมอ จะไม่สามารถทำได้เต็มที่แต่ Suction cup หรือ
Absorption pad ลักษณะนี้ จะสามารถรับน้ำหนักได้ดีกว่า แบบหลายชั้น

2. แบบ Double Bellow คือ Suction cup หรือ Absorption pad แบบสองชั้น : Suction cup หรือ Absorption pad ประเภทนี้จะนิยมใช้ กับวัสดุที่มีพื้นผิวโค้งงอ
มากกว่าปกติ เนื่องจากลักษณะภายนอกนั้นสามารถยืดหยุ่นได้เป็นอย่างดี ทำให้สามารถจับชิ้นงานพื้นผิวแบบไม่เรียบได้ดีกว่า Suction cup หรือ Absorption pad
แบบอื่นๆ แต่เนื่องจากพื้นผิวที่มีความยืดหยุ่นมากกว่าประเภทอื่นๆ ทำให้ Suction cup หรือ Absorptopn pad ชนิดนี้สามารถรับน้ำหนักของชิ้นงาน
ที่จะจับได้น้อยกว่าแบบอื่นๆอีกเช่นกัน

นอกจากนี้ในการเลือกใช้ Suction cup หรือ Absorption pad ควรคำนึงถึงน้ำหนักของชิ้นงานที่เราต้องการจับอีกด้วย หากชิ้นงานมีน้ำหนักมาก ในการเลือกใช้ Suction cup
หรือ Absorption pad ก็ควรจะมีจำนวนชิ้นมากกว่าเดิม เพื่อให้ Suction cup หรือ Absorption pad สามารถจับงานได้อย่างมั่นคงและไม่หลุดในขณะขนย้าย ซึงสามารถ

พื้นผิวงานที่จะหยิบจับ (Surface of product)

งานเน้นผิว : คือ งานที่ต้องการโชว์พื้นผิวของงาน ซึ่งไม่ควรมีรอยใดๆติดอยู่บนผิวของชิ้นงานนั้นๆ โดยงานประเภทนี้ควรเลือกใช้ Suction cup ที่มี Material ประเภท Special synthetic rubber ซึ่งช่วยลดร่องรอยที่อาจเกิดขึ้นกับชิ้นงานที่เกิดจากการดูดจับของ Suction cup หรือ Absorption pad
งานไม่เน้นผิว : คือ ชิ้นงานที่ไม่ได้เน้นความสวยงามของผิว สามารถเลือกใช้ Suction cup หรือ Absorption pad ได้ทุกแบบที่เหมาะสมกับชิ้นงาน

วิธีการเก็บรักษา Suction cup

เนื่องจาก Suction cup ทุกประเภท มีส่วนประกอบของยางหรือซิลิโคน ดังนั้นการดูแลรักษาที่จะช่วยยืดอายุการใช้งานของสินค้าให้คงคุณภาพไว้นานที่สุด จึงควรเก็บไว้ในที่ห่างจากแสงแดดหรือแสงในอาหารที่มีความสว่างสูง อุณหภูมิที่เหมาะสมคือ 15-25°C และมีความชื้นน้อย
