TRUSCO Uncoated Gloves
Uncoated gloves are used at workplaces that require antistatic measures. The surface of the gloves is given conductivity to prevent static buildup due to friction and contact as well as adherence of dust. As such, they are used at precision machine factories and workplaces where electronic components and semiconductors are manufactured. These gloves come in various types, including professional-use glove liners, cotton gloves (for preventing rough hands), quality control gloves and close-fitting inspection gloves. Materials used include nylon/polyester and polyurethane. Uncoated gloves have different features such as prevention of heat generation, moisture release and acid smell and an ability to be washed and used repeatedly. These gloves must be selected according to the application and work environment, making sure the size is right for the user and avoiding use when there is a risk of a hand getting caught in a rotating body.
