MISUMI Push-Down Workpiece Clamps
A hold-down clamp is a type of clamp that is mounted to a work table and holds the workpiece facing from upward to downward during work. Many types are available, including those fastened with a wrench or spanner, and clamps that do not require tools. They are made of materials such as iron, stainless steel and aluminum alloy, and some hold-down clamps have a rust-prevention treatment. An advantage of the type requiring tools is their space-saving design. An advantage of the type not requiring tools is that the hold-down clamp can be used with lever operation. Using a hold-down clamp eliminates the need to have other personnel present to hold the workpiece. Unclamping is also easy, enabling use for light work and simple positioning.
