MILWAUKEE ELE Shears
A shear is an abbreviation of a shearing machine, and is an electric tool that quickly shears on the same principle as scissors. It is constructed to sandwich a metal plate between upper and lower blades and cut it by applying pressure, and is characterized by a shorter cutting time than other tools. It is used to cut steel plates, stainless steel plates, aluminum plates, and other standard-size plates into approximate sizes, and when cutting to a size required for work. It is excellent in that it does not generate cutting chips, but the cut surface develops burrs and droop, and the plate is distorted and warped by the application of pressure. Be careful not to injure your hands with burrs, and it is necessary to cut larger than the required size. There are three types of shears: AC powered, rechargeable cordless, and straight shears with three blades that can cut with high accuracy.
