ESCO Chain Slings
A chain sling is a type of sling used for lifting work that uses a chain, a hook, and a ring. It is more heat-resistant than a wire rope and a fiber belt and suitable for high temperature environments. Various hanging operations are possible depending on combinations of sling parts. 1, 2 or 4 chains can be suspended on 1 master ring. A master link with sub-link is suitable for suspending 3 or more chains because it can easily balance the loads. There are various types of hooks such as grip latch hooks, sling hooks, and foundry hooks. The material is a special steel alloy that is resistant to rust and features high durability. There is also a type that is more resistant to rust with mechanical galvanizing surface treatment. There are also many types that take safety into consideration, such as a type in which the latch is integrated with the hook and a type with a stopper.
