TAKIGEN Cylinder Locks
Cylinder locks & deadbolts are a type of lock/unlock system using a rotating motion. Cylinder locks are the locking/unlocking mechanism composed with 2 cylinders, the outer casing and the plug. Main types include pin cylinder locks that can be locked/unlocked when the correct key is inserted and the plug rotates, dimple cylinder locks that feature reversible keys and their complicated structure, profile cylinder locks that are becoming a standard type in Europe for its high security. Deadbolts are the locking mechanism in which a protruded part called deadbolt is used like a stopper. Many of deadbolts use keys and thumbturns to operate deadbolts for locking/unlocking. Both cylinder locks and deadbolts may be used independently, but for enhancement of security, either one may be used as the main lock and the other may be used for auxiliary lock.
