Liquid chemical fluoropolymer products are fluoropolymer products with resistance to various liquid chemicals. Fluoropolymer is a material known to resist purity deterioration, and for superior properties such as its heat resistance, abrasion resistance, non-adhesiveness and insulation. These characteristics make liquid chemical fluoropolymer suitable for use in parts of equipment used to manufacture semiconductors, chemicals, foods, medical equipment or other products that make extensive use of liquid chemicals in their manufacturing processes. Examples of liquid chemical fluoropolymer products include fittings, valves, tubes, pumps and containers. Products are sometimes made to order to match specific usage environments or chemical liquid types. Controlling contaminants in liquid chemicals is an increasingly important requirement for creating smaller and higher-quality semiconductors using the increasingly integrated and miniaturized semiconductor manufacturing processes of recent years. Fluoropolymer products with high resistance to liquid chemicals are often being selected as a result.
