Dust Collectors

Dust collectors are devices used to suction and remove dust or other particles from the air when working with machinery. Dust collectors use high suction force to capture the dust by passing the air through a filter. Some dust collector types use activated charcoal in the filter to also remove odors. Dust collectors are used in many different types of work. Examples include polishing the artificial teeth created by dental technicians, removing flour particles from the air when processing food products, and cutting woodworking materials. Different dust collector models can be selected to match the amount of dust generated by the work, with dust collection capacities ranging from small (about 10 liters) to large (over 100 liters). Compact desktop models are available with weights of up to 10 kg, handy for desktop work. Filters can be replaced just by removing a band, for easy replacement without getting hands dirty. Models used by attaching a hood or duct pipe are the most common type.
