Arrester Elements
An arrester element is a component for suppressing abnormal voltage. It is also called a lightning arrester and used for surge protection. The arrester element mounting methods include through-hole mount method, which is for mounting electronic components, electrical components, cables, etc. on a PCB, and surface mount method, which is for mounting electronic components on a PCB. A module type has a built-in arrestor, which prevents transient voltage and energy from damaging or damaging equipment and components, and causing harm to workers. It is necessary to select a type according to the impulse electric discharge current and voltage. A gas discharge tube is also a kind of arrester element and can withstand large surge current energies. They are axial-leaded components, and it is necessary to select a product according to the maximum surge current and electric discharge starting voltage.
