FPGA
An FPGA is an integrated circuit that allows the user (engineer) to change or set the configuration of the electronic control functions in the device. When making circuit changes such as design data, the configuration can be changed only by changing the FPGA. Because it can be rewritten as many times as you want, it can be used immediately. It is mainly used for digital signal processing, voice recognition, emulators, etc. By having logic for image processing and video compression / decompression, etc. inside the chip, it is possible to perform high-speed processing for applications. FPGA stores the internal circuit itself as data. Therefore, it is possible to switch to a new circuit by exchanging the data itself, or to update the circuit if connected via a network.
