Rotation Measuring Devices
Tachometer is a general term for machines that measure the rotation speed and speed of any rotating object. There are two main types: rotational speed meters and counters. The tachometer measures the instantaneous rotational speed, also called the tachometer, and is used as an operation index for devices whose rotational speed fluctuates. A handy type is generally used, and there are three types: a contact type that uses a contact sensor pressed against a rotating object, a non-contact type that measures with the reflected light of a laser or infrared sensor, and a contact / non-contact type. The contact type is suitable for measuring low-speed rotation such as a rewind, etc. The non-contact type is safe and convenient, but you need to be careful about the angle of the laser to get accurate measurements. The frequency counter measures the rotational speed by integration, and is used for maintenance and maintenance of devices that maintain the same rotational speed, power saving measures, and so on.
