ESCO Electronic Stationery
Electronic stationery is stationery that incorporates digital technology. Electronic stationery mainly consists of devices such as electronic notebooks, electronic dictionaries and business card boxes. Electronic notebooks are suitable for uses such as electronic bulletin boards, taking notes during meetings and electronic sticky notes. Handwritten notes on the screen can be instantly erased at the press of a button and rewritten. Most devices are battery-powered models with replaceable batteries, or single-use models. Models with separately sold storage cases for use on the move are also available. Most electronic dictionaries come with a monolingual Japanese dictionary along with English-Japanese and Japanese-English translation dictionaries, though some models omit the monolingual dictionary. There are also models with Korean or Chinese dictionaries, and models that can translate Thai or Vietnamese into English or Japanese. Business card boxes are devices designed to provide digital business card management. A double-sided scan of a business card placed in the feed tray is performed at the touch of a button, reading the information on the card into the device as data. The data can be sent to a digital card holder using the transfer software provided.
