ROHM Audio Amplifiers
Audio amplifiers are electrical components that amplify music signals. Generally, it uses the amplifying action of a transistor, and a small music signal is amplified by an audio amplifier, turned into a large output signal, and sent out to a speaker. It features amplification of the signal using the power supply as energy and releasing it as extra energy heat. Audio amplifiers are divided into classes according to the operation method of the amplifier, and the sound quality and output differ depending on the class. Class A is characterized by low volume and high quality sound, though it generates a lot of heat, while Class B is suitable for high volume. The AB class performs A-class operation at low volume and B-class operation at high volume, resulting in high volume and high quality sound. There is also a class D used in digital amplifiers.
