Ladders

Ladders are fixtures that can be placed under high locations and climbed like stairs to gain access to them. The standard design consists of 2 long struts connected at intervals by cross members serving as footholds. Ladder types are primarily classified by how the ladder slides out to extend. For example, single-section ladders consist of 1 section that does not fold or slide out. Two-section ladders have the body divided into 2 sections so that the ladder can slide out to extend its length. Three-section ladders have the body divided into 3 sections for length extension. Other typical ladder types include pruning ladders needed for tree maintenance work, temporary stairway ladders used during housing construction, and indoor ladders used for loft access in homes. There are also models that can be extended by operating a rope, models made of superior-strength aluminum, models with side handrails and other types.
