Resistance Arrays / Networks

A resistor array network is a component that combines multiple resistors used in electronic circuits. Also called collective resistor. Features include reduced mounting costs by reducing the number of components, space saving and high-density mounting. There are magazine products and taping products that can be inserted automatically. Applications include in-vehicle equipment and industrial equipment that require digital circuit pull-up/pull-down resistors, LED current limiting, and damping resistance. There are two main types of resistor array networks: the thick-film type has a large number of the same resistance values arranged side by side, and the thin-film type is used to reduce relative resistance variations in analog circuits, etc.
