Single Faucets
A single faucet is a water faucet that discharges and stops discharging either cold or hot water. It is the simplest type of water faucet. Copper alloy is used for the material due to its ease of processing and excellent antibacterial properties. There are more than 10 kinds of single faucet depending on the application, including horizontal faucets with fixed metal fittings that spout water only downward, movable water faucets where the pipe part of the mouth moves left and right, and rotatable water faucets where the mouth can be rotated and pointed upwards. There are two types of mounting: a horizontal wall-attaching type which attaches directly to the wall, and a vertical type with a base attached to a top plate or bowl, etc. It is common to turn the handle (faucet) counterclockwise to discharge water, and to turn it clockwise to stop water, but recently there are also lever types and sensor types.
