Ceramic Bearing
A ceramic bearing has a bearing made of ceramic (silicon nitride) and is lubricated with a fluoropolymer. This product is suitable for use in locations where regular bearings cannot be used, in locations requiring high corrosion resistance or when higher rotational speeds are required. Main locations of use include vacuum environments, corrosive environments, and semiconductor manufacturing installations or inspection equipment in clean environments, as well as for various other insulated applications. The environmental performance of these parts is also excellent, and they prevent environmental pollution caused by discharged grease. These parts are resistant to grease evaporation and decomposition, and lubricating oil deterioration caused by the entry of contaminants, which helps prevent unforeseen accidents. Select ceramic bearings by first checking the allowable radial load and allowable rotational speed in the Table of Dimensions to confirm whether the bearing can be used as-is.
