TRUSCO Ultra-Hard Bars
Carbide burs are rotary burs made of carbide alloy and the like. Rotary burs are parts for compact air grinders and the like where the tip of the stick is machined into a file shape, and they are used for a broad range of machining from grinding to finishing of metallic and non-metallic materials. As they are carbide type, the feature ability to cleanly machine hard-to-cut materials such as stainless steel. There are various blade types and shapes. Those include cross-cut, which has minimal shaking and can make clean finished surfaces; spiral cut, which can cut large amounts and enable efficient work; and light metal cut such as for aluminum and brass, which is resistant to clogging. There are also sets composed of long-life titanium-coated type with greater surface hardness and often-used carbide burs.
