TRUSCO Land Survey Markers
Land survey markers are instruments that mark boundaries in surveying. Measurement signboards will be installed at the border of the land. There is the affixed type, and recessed type. The affixed type is installed with mounting bolts and adhesive. The affixed type is fixed to a place where concrete piles and plastic piles cannot be buried with adhesive only. The point base is a sign that clearly indicates the points of the survey and is used together with the measure nail. The color of the point base is determined by the piping that passes, such as red for electricity and blue for water. The measure nail has a red cross sign on the head, indicating the center of the nail. It can be driven as it is on gravel roads, but concrete and asphalt require pilot holes. Survey poles are equally spaced red and white poles that indicate position or direction at a survey point.
