TE Connectivity Pressure Sensors for Circuit Boards
A circuit board pressure sensor is a component that is attached to a circuit board to measure pressure. It is widely used in pressure measurement applications such as measuring instruments and industrial equipment. In addition to gas and liquid sensors, there are sensors that detect the load. For gas, there are products for nitrogen and oxygen gas in addition to air, and for liquid, there are products for oil, sewage, etc. in addition to water, and can be selected according to the application. Circuit board pressure sensors, such as through-hole mount type and surface mount type, are products that can be mounted on a circuit board, as well as products that can be mounted on a panel. Pressure types include gauges based on atmospheric pressure, absolute and differential types based on absolute vacuum, and products that support both gauge pressure and absolute pressure. The differential type can measure the pressure difference between two systems. Since pressure is affected by ambient temperature, it is recommended to use a product with a built-in temperature compensation resistor for highly accurate measurements.
