PANASONIC Solid State Relays for Circuit Boards
Solid state relays for boards are parts that switch on / off current, voltage, and various signals without mechanical contacts in the electronic circuit board. The contacts are switched by the action of semiconductor switching elements that flow and control current such as transistors, diodes, thyristors, triacs, etc. There are various mounting types such as through-hole mounting and surface mounting. Since there is no contact associated with opening and closing the circuit, frequent opening and closing can be performed at high speed without limit, there is no operation noise, and there is no abrasion of the contact part. Therefore, a design to dissipate heat is required because the semiconductor self-heats. Because of these features, circuit board solid-state relays are used in various fields, such as industrial robots, computers, office automation equipment, etc.
