A riveter is a fastening tool used for riveting work. Riveting is a method of fixing and adhering by deforming rivets and metal fittings that have been set into joints. A rivet must be fastened from both sides, but with blind rivets it is possible to work from only one side. A blind rivet consists of a body and a shaft, and the shaft is pulled out to deform and fix the body. A nutter is a tool that attaches nuts to thin plates and struts that can not be tapped, and as in the case of rivets it can be operated from the direction you want to install from alone. When using a nutter, it is necessary to check the thickness of the plate to be fixed and the screw diameter and pitch of the bolt. There are also combined riveters and nutters that allow riveting and nut fastening work to be performed simultaneously.
