NIIGATA SEIKI (SK) Tri-Squares
Framing squares are a ruler made of metal bent at a right angle and used for measuring the length of wood and marking work. It is used for marking, scribing, fixing at right angles and measuring length in civil engineering and metalworking at construction sites. The main material is stainless steel, which is durable and ensures a consistent scale regardless of the temperature. There is also a type that has a stronger finish by the hardening process. The type with a matte silver surface makes it easy to read the scale even in strong light. The framing square with a flanged edge has the advantage that it does not wobble easily when cutting because it is pushed against the material. The thick type with a thickness of about 2 mm does not easily change the angle and is suitable for precision work. The size can be selected from a small type with a length of 10 cm to a large type of 1 m depending on the application.
