MISUMI Chain Guides
A chain guide is a part that enables the smooth movement of a chain, which is mainly used in industrial machinery or machine tools. The chain runs through the chain guide, greatly reducing dust and noise. The role of this part is becoming more important as the automation of work processes continues to advance. In the past, this part was made from materials such as steel with excellent durability and high heat and electrical conductivity, or aluminum that is strong, lightweight, difficult to deform and has excellent rust prevention performance. However, recently the demand for resin chain guides has risen. Resin products have high abrasion resistance and low friction, enabling smooth travel when contacting metal.
