MISUMI For V-Grooves
A grooving tool is a dedicated cutting tool that is attached to a machining center or milling machine and is used for machine grooving grooves that suppress the occurrence of burrs on rubber molds. The main base material used for cutting groove tools is MG carbide (ultra-fine cemented carbide) with excellent hardness and strength. In many cases, the tip has two blades and a straight blade, so select from single-flute type or double-flute type. The tip diameter and cutting edge angle can be specified to any size. Recommended cutting conditions vary depending on the product and part number. Set the feed speed and rotation speed according to the cutting tip diameter and the type of work material. When selecting a product for a cutting groove, select the shank diameter, tip diameter, and cutting edge angle (both angles) according to the processing content.
