MISUMI RS233C Cables
RS232C cables are serial communications interface cables. This communication standard was first defined by the EIA (Electronic Industries Alliance) in the U.S.A., and after improvements and further standardization, it is currently officially called "ANSI/EIA/TIA-232-F" or generally, RS232C or serial port. These cables are used to connect computers with computers or computers with peripheral devices. Depending on the type of device being connected (DCE/DTE), either the straight cable or the crossover (reverse) cable is available, and the number of D-sub pins on the connector and female/male connection types must also be considered. Cable length should be suitable for the equipment being connected. Standards define the maximum communication distance as 15 m, maximum speed at 20 kbps.
