MISUMI Flat Cables

MISUMI Logo Image
A ribbon cable is a cable in which several wires are bundled in parallel to form a flat shape. It is possible to send more than one signal at a time. Around 10 to 100 wires, each of which is made of a conducted tin-plated copper wire covered with a resin insulator, are fused together to form a bundle. It is characterized by its thinness and softness, and it is easily bent, so it is used for internal wiring of precision equipment. Above all, the Sudare type, which is divided into a fused part and a non-fused part, has high flexibility. Ribbon cable also has noise mixed in easily, but twisted pair types with a structure based on two wires are effective at noise prevention, and a type that is shielded with aluminum tape can be selected. There is also a round cable with a ribbon cable rounded and shielded.
