MISUMI Packing
Packing is a part that seals the connection parts such as parts and piping to prevent water, oil, and contaminant from entering. Silicone and rubber are the most common, but special flexible PVC, which has excellent flexural fatigue strength, aging, and ozone resistance, and ethylene resin, which has excellent chemical resistance, insulation, and low friction, are also available. It features excellent durability and weather resistance, and some have excellent elasticity, heat resistance, flame retardancy, etc. Some of them have improved shielding effects because they are easy to handle and have high flexibility, and others have improved workability and processability because they can be cut with scissors. The packing can be used to protect the openings of various housings such as metal doors, window frames, switchboards, etc. as well as cushioning materials, cable protection, heat-insulating seals, etc. The shape, thickness and material of the connecting part vary depending on the place of use, so it is necessary to select a compatible one.
