KYORITSU Insulation Resistance Meters
An insulation resistance tester is an electrical measuring instrument for maintenance and inspection of power circuits used for insulation resistance measurement tests. Also known as ohmmeter or electric resistance meter. This tool is used to check electrical equipment and parts used in factories for deterioration such as electric shock and earth leakage. There are types such as digital type and analog type, single range and multi range. In the digital type, the measurement display is displayed directly on the screen as numbers. The analog type indicates the measured value with a needle on the display panel. The single range has only one measurement range and there is no need to switch the voltage to measure. The multi-range has two or more measurement ranges and can measure a wide range from 50 V to 1,000 V. When measuring, it is necessary to select an ohmmeter that is close to the voltage of the device to be measured.
