IDEC Crossing Metal Fittings
A jumper bar is a metal fitting for connecting adjacent terminals on a terminal block. It is also called a short bar and can distribute electricity by connecting adjacent negative terminals. It enables easy and simple transition wiring, which can shorten time required for wiring work and enables space saving by eliminating extra wiring. Products can be classified into insulated coated products and products without coating. Most products have 2 to 10 poles, and some products have as many as 20 poles. Some products can be cut using wire cutters or the like to have the required number of poles. Also, the pitch between poles depends on the product, so select according to the terminal block you use. When using a jumper bar, care must be taken to ensure that the total current of connected terminals does not exceed the rating of the jumper bar.
