IDEC Signal Relays
The signal relay is a part that transmits electrical signals received from outside to the machine as the on/off of a switch. This is used in communications equipment, OA equipment, industrial equipment and other devices. Types include a MOSFET relay, signal relay and PCB relay. The material is a silver or gold alloy. MOSFET relays have a long lifespan because they are semiconductors, and another feature is that they do not require maintenance. Signal relays have a cross-bar twin and gold plated contact structure that can deliver high-performance even for very small signal loads. PCB relays can be used when high load switching of 3 A or higher is required. Features of this type include enhanced insulation distance between coil contacts and the application of safety measures.
