IDEC Control
Controls are devices that control sensors and the movements of machinery. Controls mainly include devices such as PLCs, relays, inverters, pilot lamps, etc. PLCs are control devices that automate machinery operation via a series of predetermined steps. They were developed as an alternative to relay circuits and are used in automatic doors and elevators. Relays are devices with a switching function triggered by external electrical current or voltage. Inverters flexibly control voltage and frequency. They convert AC power to DC, modify the voltage and frequency, and convert DC power back to AC. They are used in home electrical appliances such as air conditioners, refrigerators and rice cookers. Pilot lamps are used as indicator lights on dashboards and panelboards, etc. Different types of pilot lamps are available according to application, such as waterproof types and lamps that light up in blue.
