HIKARI Building Materials
Building materials & sheet materials are a collective term for materials used in construction of the structures such as houses and buildings. 訳出不要 Sheet materials are also a kind of building materials, and they are woods sawed into the shape of boards. Building materials are classified into 2 types, for finishing and for base. The finishing materials are used for visible parts of the exteriors and interiors. Roofing materials such as roof tiles and slate tiles, and exterior wall materials such as siding and mortar are included. On the other hand, the base materials are used under the finishing materials. The base materials differ from each other in some features, e.g. thermal insulation properties, sound insulation properties, moisture permeability, and are generally selected depending on the location where they are used. In addition, some of the new building materials are easy to process, and produced using vinyl, plastic and other materials.
