ESCO Household Drainage Supplies
Residential drainage products are equipment used around drains. They are used in environments where water is handled, such as hot water supply rooms, washrooms, and toilets. Drain traps prevent odors and insects from entering from drainage and sewer pipes. They are installed in the middle of pipes, and suppress odors using water that accumulates in the trap and lids. There are two types of drain traps: bowl traps and P traps. A P trap is a mechanism wherein water flowing from above drains to the wall side, and there is no drain pipe leading to the floor. Lever handle drains have a drain valve that is opened and closed by turning a handle. Rectangular drainage units are characterized by good drainage even with large amounts of water. Traps are divided into a center type and an eccentric type. Some types do not have a trap and do not need to be connected to a drain pipe.
