CKD Drain Traps, Steam Traps
Drain traps and steam traps are devices used to drain condensate. "Condensate" means the water vapor in the atmosphere, or rainwater or wastewater. In particular, a steam trap is excellent at discharging condensate only from a steam atmosphere. Three methods are available for separating steam from condensate. The free float type uses the difference in specific gravity, the disk type uses the thermodynamic properties and the bellows-type uses the difference in temperature. On the other hand, a drain trap discharges condensate that includes steam, and is used in machines such as air conditioners. Drain traps and steam traps vary by trap capacity and durability. Small types are available as well as continuous drainage and other performance variations. Select according to the drain pipe opening diameter and capacity.
