ASADA Plasma Cutting Machines
A plasma cutter is a machine that melts an object with extremely high temperature arc plasma and cuts it while blowing it off with compressed air. Since the base material is melted at a high temperature and blown off with compressed air, most conductive metals can be cut. As it does not use gas, it can be used safely, and since heat input to the cut is small and distortion does not readily occur, it allows clean, quick cutting. Plasma cutters do not require gas, but use a three-phase 200 V power supply and compressed air, so a compressor is required. In addition, as plasma cutters can be used to cut thin plates, and can be used to cut both straight and curved lines, they are used for cutting car body panels and frames. Since they can also cut thick plates, they are also used for demolition on construction sites.
