AS ONE Balance and Balance-Related Items
Scales and scale-related items are mass measuring instruments and items used in relation to them when measuring. They are used particularly when accurately measuring fine objects. Scales include electronic scales where measurement results are displayed digitally and analytical scales appropriate for chemical analysis. Electronic scales are load cell type, electromagnetic type, and tuning fork type, and all measure a standard weight in order to accurately show mass values and require calibration. Recent models have a calibration weight built-in. Models for weighing from a minimum of 30 g to a maximum of 31 kg are available, and the minimum display is from 0.001 g. Scales must be selected according to the purpose they are used for in addition to weighing based on dimensions and how fine to measure. Related items include weights, anti-vibration tables, and weighing dishes.
