Schneider Electric Signal Relays for Circuit Boards
The circuit board signal relay is a signal relay to be attached to a circuit board. A relay is a component that switches ON/OFF in an electric circuit based on a signal received from the outside. There are types to be attached to electric circuits such as control panels, and types to be mounted on radio equipment. There are two types of relays: contact relays using electromagnets and non-contact relays using semiconductor elements. Consisting of an electromagnet and a contact mechanism, the contact mechanism is activated by electromagnetic attraction generated when a certain amount of current flows through the electromagnet. Other functions include transmitting different types of electrical signals and producing multiple outputs from a single signal. There are differences in functions depending on things such as environmental resistance, heat resistance, and dust-proofness.
