RS Pro Desiccators
A desiccator is a container that controls the humidity in a refrigerator and prevents quality deterioration caused by humidity changes. It is used for storage of hygroscopic and deliquescent samples and reagents, semiconductor electronic parts and rust-prevention parts. Desiccator types include a desiccant or dehumidifier type, an auto dry type and a vacuum type. The desiccant or dehumidifier type is a simple type of desiccator that stores a dehumidifier such as silica gel in a box and prevents moisture from adhering for a short period of time. The auto dry type is used to keep the humidity inside a refrigerator stable at low humidity for a long time by electrical control. The vacuum type can prevent the adhesion of moisture at a high level by keeping the inside in a vacuum state, and some products are compatible with reduced pressure gas replacement.
