ROHM Magnetic/Current
Magnetism and current are parts used for electrical purposes, such as magnetic sensors and circuit board current sensors. Magnetic sensors detect magnetism and convert them into electrical signals. There are Hall sensors with a Hall effect and MR sensors with a magnetoresistance effect. The main applications of magnetic sensors are detection of linear and angular positions, battery management, electronic fuses, and motor control. There are through-hole mounting type and surface mounting type as the mounting type for the circuit board current sensor, and the Hall effect, open loop, closed loop, etc. are available as the sensor type. The type of sensor changes depending on the frequency, response time, and supply voltage of the place where it will be used. Other magnetic and current-related components include Hall effect switches, Hall sensors, inductive sensors, and Hall effect latches.
