ROHM EEPROM

An EEPROM is a semiconductor memory device whose contents can be rewritten electrically. It is used as an auxiliary to retain data of a semiconductor chip, computer setting information, etc. EEPROM memory sizes range from 1 K to 512 K, and as for product shapes, through-hole type products and surface mount type ones are available. In addition, since the interface, maximum clock frequency, and supply voltage are different depending on the product, it is necessary to select products suitable for usage conditions. An EEPROM can erase data by applying a higher voltage than usual, and can retain written data even when the power supply is turned off.
