FESTO Step Switching Valves
A foot pedal valve is used to feed or stop compressed air by stepping on a lever when moving an air cylinder. The foot operation enables you to switch the air operation while continuing to work with your hands. These products are made of lightweight materials such as corrosion-resistant aluminum, which are resistant to water and sturdy. Pedal types and button types are available. A polyurethane tube is used for connecting to the air cylinder. A single-acting air cylinder has 3 ports: the outlet, inlet and exhaust port. A double-acting air cylinder has 4 ports with outlets in 2 locations. Some products can be used with a press or drill press, while others can be used lubrication-free. Options include a protective cover, and a function where the lever locks when it is depressed once, and released when it is depressed again.
