Metal Saws
Metal saws are disc-shaped saw blades where the blade itself is made of hard material such as high-speed steel. They can be attached to cutting machines and used when cutting or grooving workpieces. Iron, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, and the like are materials that can be cut. The blade material must be selected to fit the material to be cut. There are also products that are easy to use, such as those with laser-slit processing on the surface for vibration suppression and sound damping, and those with unique coatings that are resistant to rust and wear. Blade thickness differs at the blade tip and center, becoming thinner toward the center, so frictional resistance can be decreased by the object being cut not contacting the center part. However, care needs to be taken as improper use may result in breakage.
