Hammers (Explosion-Proof)
Hammers (explosion-proof) are a hammer that has been subjected to explosion-proof treatment so that no sparks are produced when striking. It is characterized by being non-incendive, non-magnetic and excellent in corrosion resistance. Some are accredited by international accreditation bodies such as in the United States and the United Kingdom. In addition to common ones such as for one-handed or sledge hammers, there are also those suitable for specific applications such as scaling hammers used for rust removal on ships and bridges, metal short hammers used for adjusting distortion of steel plate. Some of them have a glass fiber handle that is durable and resistant to chemicals, and there are also products that are shock- and vibration-resistant and ones as strong as steel tools. It is mainly used in the chemical industry, gas industry, aluminum refineries, thermal power plants, and other workplaces where magnetism is not desired.
