Sheet Metal Rollers
Sheet metal rollers are a machine to press a flat plate to turn it into a round or cylindrical shape. There are generally 2 types of sheet metal rollers: a machine that coil the sheet metal with the pressure of 2 rollers arranged in the vertical direction, and a machine that has 3 rollers in a triangle and bends the sheet at 3 fulcrums. Two rollers are characterized by a smooth bend and high processing speed. On the other hand, 3 rollers are suitable for multi-purpose processing of a wide variety of items such as different material, thickness and width. In addition, a 4-roller machine is used at the factories that have automated bending and when large bending is required. Carbon steel, urethane, etc., are used as the roller material. Carbon steel is hardened to prevent scratches even when processing aluminum. In bending with 3 rollers, the bending starts from the point where the 3 fulcrums intersect, so the tip and end points of the plate are not rounded. Therefore, it is necessary to bend the edges beforehand.
