DIA/CBN Bars (Page 2)
Diamond/carbon burs are rod-type abrasives used for grinding the inner surface of metals and nonferrous metals and removing burs. They are mainly used for the precision grinding of molds and other workpieces and finishing of welds. They are attached to precision grinders (micro grinders) to be used. Bar tips are available in various shapes, including cylinder shape, ball shape, bullet shape, flat shape and tapered shape, and it is important to choose a suitable type according to the application. Products with a hexagonal shaft can be used attached to an impact screwdriver. Carbon is second to diamond in hardness, and like diamond, it is used as a material for abrasive grains. Carbon is frequently used for stainless steel and other metal materials, and due to its excellent heat resistance, carbon is suitable for use under high temperatures.
