Magnetic Chucks(Output rating (voltage):With permanent electromagnets: 0 to 180 VDC (2 sec), with low electromagnets: ±0 to 60 VDC (continuous))

A magnetic chuck is a tool that magnetically fixes a workpiece to a machine tool. It is mainly used for machining operations such as grinding and cutting. There are three types, electromagnetic chucks, permanent magnetic chucks, and permanent electromagnetic chucks, which can be used depending on the type of machine tool, the size of the workpiece, and the machining application. An electromagnetic chuck has adjustable holding force and allows the machining of large workpieces. It requires power when in use, and the heat generated when it is energized may affect accuracy. Permanent electromagnetic chucks can be used by instantaneous energization at the time of attachment and detachment alone, so they are less affected by heat generation and are suitable for work requiring high accuracy. Permanent magnetic chucks do not require electricity and do not generate heat, so they are suited to the machining of high-accuracy and small articles.

A low-magnetism control function is used for straightening similar to electromagnetic chucks. A low-magnetism control function is used for easy positioning of workpieces (Continuously conductive at low magnetic control. When used under low magnetic control for a long period, accuracy displacement from heating of permanent electromagnetic chuck itself may have a slight effect on machining accuracy.)
