Microscopic-Organization-Standard Pieces
Microstructure standard pieces are representative metal materials, heat-treated materials, etc., that are categorized into the 1st to 7th categories and are observable structure specimens. In addition to the actual standard piece, a manual and CD-ROM regarding the material, characteristics of the structure, conditions for heat treatment, etc., are attached. The structure standard piece is used for grit size analysis of metallographic structures in fields such as electrical and other manufacturing industries. The structural structure of metal and the size of crystal grains are closely related to the strength and impact value of the material, and for machines and equipment that require high safety, there are cases in which the hardness of the metal used as the material and the size of the crystal grains are illustrated. Analysis with a microstructure standard piece can reveal grain boundaries (regions where the arrangement of grains is disturbed) of steel austenite etc., which is useful for detailed grit size investigations.
