Wrapping Type Heaters

Flexible heaters are cord-shaped, ribbon-shaped, and tape-shaped heaters. They are used by wrapping around a rod-like object such as a pipe or by welding to plug-type heaters. They are used for preventing freezing and dew condensation of piping, for process thermal insulation, etc. Silicon rubber is mainly used as the material for flexible heaters. It has the feature of being easy to fit various processing surfaces due to the high flexibility. The length of the heater, the width of the ribbon, and the thickness of the cord vary depending on the product. In addition, there are types that heat drums and cans. There are also thermocouples that detect temperature, and temperature controllers that adjust the temperature of the heater. By connecting a flexible heater to a temperature controller, it is possible to prevent overheating.
